Im thankful that I had the opportunity to know George, and call him my friend, even though we have never met in person. This is the magic of Amateur Radio. His calm voice and humble manner was so endearing, I looked forward to our short chats on the air. My deepest condolences to his family and closer friends, he will be missed. Rest In Peace, George. My sincerest condolences to George's family as you grieve your loss yet celebrate his long, wonderful life. I always looked forward to chatting with George on the radio. He had such a friendly, kind, and gentle manner which was immediately endearing. I am privileged to have connected with him and to have shared a bit of his life. I will miss him.
