George A. Bottom

I worked with George at the old Station 7 on Willow Pass Rd. in West Pittsburg as a probationary FF in 1971. He was also part of my academy training. He inspired me to get involved with the union, and as president of Local 1230 -some years later, I was honored to introduce a resolution, on behalf of the Union, honoring his service to Local 1230 at a convention of the IAFF in Denver around 1976. So good to hear he lived a long life.
