Not sure what to say?

It was an inspiration just meeting you at your home in Baltimore. You gave me advise on leadership and direction. Your niece Lynn was also an inspiration to me. RIP

As do many true Cougars, I owe my start in Educational Administration, and any successes that followed, to the spark and guidance that George so willingly shared with me. Thank you for sharing him.

Harriet and Family: George had no equal in our state as a supporter of public schools and as a mentor to (Cougar) school leaders. We learned from the best--and we carry his lessons with us. We love to tell the stories--and we will keep on telling them. I can honestly say he is the reason I continue to do my best to prepare school leaders who value the Cougar Connection he instilled in so many of us. Thank you for sharing him with us. To positively impact so many people...what a legacy! Goodbye my friend.

Dr. George Brain was one of those rare individuals who inspired, whether by word or example, everyone who came in contact with him to be a better person than he or she might have otherwise been. A great humanitarian, a towering intellect, an inspiring leader, a leading educator, a mentor and a caring friend. He made a difference to so many people in so many ways on so many levels.. He will be missed, he will be remembered. My sincere sympathy to Harriet and family. We all lost a special...

George was a blessing to Ellensburg and to Central. He attended Rotary with my dad Mose. Two wonderful men. Both sold to serve.

Harriet and family: He was a great inspiration, counselor and friend. His help gave my family the life we enjoy today.

The Washington State Veterans Cemetery extend our deepest sympathies to the family of Dr. George B. Brain for your loss, to honor his service to our country and our patriotic hero.
