Not sure what to say?

I FIRST MET MR BRANCH WHEN I WAS ASSIGNED TO HIS OFFICE AT THE NEWARK HOUSING AUTHORITY HE WAS MY SUPERVISOR, WHO WAS VERY PLEASANT AND EFFECTIVE USING TOOLS AND QUALITY TO PROVIDE CLEAR DIRECTION AND SUPPORT, HE WAS ALWAYS INSPIRING YOU TO GO FURTHER TO OBTAIN YOU GOALS.

Mr Branch taught me how to box at sixteen and even traveled on his own time to a gym in east orange to train me. He didn’t have to do that for me but that’s the considerate kind good hearted man he was . I will forever remember his kindness.

Joyce,we are sorry for your(our)loss, and want you to know that our hearts are with you and your family. May God give you the strength to get through this difficult time.

I first met George in 1947 when I trained with him at Tom Gardner's gym on Springfield Avenue in Newark. He was loved and respected by everyone he came in contact with. Later on in life we were fortunate enough to get together with our wives on several occasions and relive old memories.
I will always miss running into George and his welcoming smile.
My deepest condolences to Joyce and family.

George and my mother the late Catherine Crawford worked together thru the City of Newark. My mother introduced me to him and always referred to him as a Champion for Newark. I am sorry for your loss and hope that you find comfort in knowing that George is now a Champion for the Lord. May GOD bless you all.

I have lived in the Central Ward of Newark the majority of my 55 years. I knew George Branch for about 20 of those years most notably working with us on community issues at New Community Housing and the Precinct Council Meetings. He was a good man and anything we asked him to do within his power he did. I will truly miss George. All my sympathy and love to the Branch Family

Sincerely
Alma Sasser
