George Branch M.D.

I remember the giant aquarium in the waiting area. I didn't have to see him much but every time I went I worried I would have to get a shot. I still remember his genteel bespecaled nurse in her crisp white uniform that would swab my shoulder and then regrettably jab the needle forthwith. He certainly lived a full and meaningful life.

Dr. Branch was my pediatrician and I've never met a kinder or more competent gentleman. RIP.

I'm working on a memoir and researching my childhood. My parents had both passed by my 17th birthday and I'm delving into other avenues. I have only the best memories of Dr. Branch and his Cole Avenue office. My guess is I was his patient from birth to age 10 (1962-72). I do remember one visit where to my horror, I saw he had shaved off his moustache and i felt personally offended (I was a bit too clever and observant a boy) He explained that he grew the moustache to look older and now he...

I was one of those children who saw Dr Branch into my 20s. He took care of me and my two brothers Kyle and Kane. We have spoke of him all through our adult years with fond memories of him. We morn this loss with you and your family

The George and Polly Hansard family send our sincerest condolences to Dr. Branch's family. Dr. Branch was our pediatrician for many, many years. My sister Deb Ann, my brother Kane and myself, Kyle all went to Dr. Branch with colds and the many injuries that the kids have and he treated us with humor and alot of times fatherly advice. We saw each other only a handful of times over the the years, but somehow, I always felt special to Dr. Branch. It was always a pleasure to sit with him for small moments as he watched the family with love in his eyes and pride in his smile.. I am honored to have met him and know that his family will find comfort in the memories of the love of, and pride in, each of them. May he Rest in Peace .

Our family extends our deep condolence to Dr. Branch's family. Dr. Branch was our children's peditrician until his retirement, truly one of the saddest days for all of us. He was not only a brilliant physician but a true "healer". Through his wisdom he literally saved our daughter's life. Dr Branch was my Mother and uncle's doctor in the late '40's when polio was an epidemic and treated my uncle throughout his illness.
I saw him from birth until my mid twenties. I remember the look in the nurses face when I said "I am the patient." He never turned me away. Even as an adult that didn't want to leave his care. A compassionate and kind man that was one of a kind! There will never be another Dr. George Branch! He will be sincerely missed. Thanks to him for all he did!

A wonderful man! I have many memories of his kind and patient demeanor and I know my mother so appreciated all his wisdom and discernment. The entire family will continue to be in my thoughts and prayers.
