Not sure what to say?

I feel lucky to have met George. I have a small sketch he gave me, and I will treasure it as a memento of a great man who really knew how to live.

I will always feel honored to have studied Filipino martial arts under Mr. Brewster. He was a great and honorable man who always gave all that he had to others, whether to his country during World War II, to his family, friends and neighbors, or to the countless number of martial artists he taught over more than 40 years in goju-ryu karate and arnis/escrima/kali. We all feel like we have lost a man who was a teacher, mentor, friend, and member of our family.

I studied Arnis at the Boston Arnis Club with Guru George Brewster for about five years. In those five years, not only did I learn a very special art, but I also got to get to know a very special man. Although he was in his eighties, he moved like a man fifty years younger than his actual age. I will never forget Mr. George Brewster...

Love,

I have no words....
I didn't know him that well, or for that long, but his life will continue to affect mine, even though he is no longer here.
Thank You Guru.

I just want to say so long to a
Great man and Instructor.
