I will always feel honored to have studied Filipino martial arts under Mr. Brewster. He was a great and honorable man who always gave all that he had to others, whether to his country during World War II, to his family, friends and neighbors, or to the countless number of martial artists he taught over more than 40 years in goju-ryu karate and arnis/escrima/kali. We all feel like we have lost a man who was a teacher, mentor, friend, and member of our family.

I have no words....
I didn't know him that well, or for that long, but his life will continue to affect mine, even though he is no longer here.
Thank You Guru.
