Not sure what to say?

I remember George's smile and boisterous laugh. He was so instrumental in bringing African Americans into the state system followed by his support to make employees like myself successful Such fun times working at SPB!!! A great mentor and friend!

George was one of my bosses at the State Personnel Board, he always had a smile on his face and if he had to reprimand you he would also do it in a kind way but also at the same time build up your strength.
To his family Thank You for sharing George Henry Brown Jr with us

My memories of Mr. Brown will always be of what an ideal black man can accomplish with determination and hard work. I never knew him to accept surrender and he blazed the path for us to achieve great things in life.

Thank you Sir for being there.

My condolences to George's family and friends. I did not know George, but I wish I had the honor. Reading that he was in the 1952 Helsinki Olympics made my heart jump. I was an exchange student in Finland in the 1980s, and have revisited many times since. I would have loved to have shared some time and conversations with with him. I want to say on behalf of the history of Finland, Thank You, George Henry Brown, Jr.

I have lived next door to George for 13 years. He was the best neighbor to me, would place my garbage cans in my patio, and always looked out for me. He was a upstanding and noble man and I will miss him dearly. Sending healing prayers and comforting hugs to his family.

Met George in 1955 - worked for him in 1975,1977,1980 - good man - fond memories!
