Not sure what to say?

Dear Thelma and family
I was saddened by the news of George's death. My granddaughter, Sara was one of the people to take care of him when he was in the hospital. She had a great time talking to him. Said he was a good patient. I remember so many good times that our group had early in our marriages. Seems like he is the last of that group. Hard to believe. I know we all have a ton of fond memories to last us our life timeand I want you to know how much Dutch andI thought of both of you...

George was a very kind, gentle person. I remember his wonderful hand-written and lengthy letters at Christmas. I will always admire his hard work and love of animals. He loved his family dearly and would talk about them proudly in his letters. I will miss him.

Dear Thelma & Family,

We are so sorry to hear about George. Our thoughts and prayers are with your family. I have many good 4-H memories of George which goes back to the early 50's. We showed cattle at the Kalamazoo fair as kids, later our children and grandchildren carried on the tradition. His willingness to share his knowledge and help others will never be forgotten.

George Buckham's Family,
We will miss your very valuable contribution to the community and
4-H. My deepest sympathies to the Buckham family and friends.

To the Buckham Family: We express our sympathy in the loss of your husband, dad and grandpa. You will be in our thoughts and prayers during this difficult time. The grace we have is that we know he is in a much better heavenly place and with the comforting knowledge you will be together again some day.

Sheep people will surely miss him. Seldom in our lives do we meet outstanding men with all the right stuff. George's family and friends and anyone who came in contact with him were blessed to have met him. He touched four generations of my family and I will miss him and his conversations when I visit Buckham farms.

George was truely a great shepherd, super husband, father and grandfather and friend. His wit and practical outlook on life with people and sheep is to be remembered by many. He touched the lives of the farming community and people from all walks of life.
George, enjoy your new flock!

Especially enjoyed sitting ring side with George and his wife at Sedalia this year. I will truly miss his wit and wisdom.
