George Miss those chats we used have
R I P my old mate and Friend.

I have just arrived in Auckland for the weekend Judith and discovered that George has passed away, so sorry to see. I was hoping to catch up to thank him for all the fun times we had with Chevrolet. Regards Tony and Jan Williams Brisbane but previously New Plymouth.

Dear Judith and Family, We were so sad to learn of George's sudden passing. Over the years we had many chats normally re our mutual love of cars and George was so helpful with assisting me to import my first car back in 1994. He will be missed by us all but remembered as one of the good guys in motorsport and business. Deepest Sympathy, Rex & Barbara Findlay

Old Friends, Last week I learnt of the passing of George a very close friend from my early life. I have a wonderful recollection of those days! Amongst my memories ( from the 50s and 60s) are Everard Gutry's milk bar, Buddy Holly, Juke box, Chocolate thick shakes, push bikes riding endlessly around Takapuna primary tennis courts. playing 500 with Mop and Pop most Sunday evenings at Killarney Street. George and his mate singing Tallahassee Lassie at a Westlake school fete. Blue Zephyr...

Dearest Judith and family, so sad to hear of George's passing. Such a good friend. If we hadn't bought a Chevy from Albany all those years back, we would never have had the pleasure of knowing George and you Judith. Lots of fond memories and jokes too! Kia kaha. Lots of love Adrienne Leonard xx

Dear Judith and family Sad to hear of Georges passing. I was introduced to George by a mutual friend 23 years ago and started doing business with him . Those business dealings turned to a friendship that i will always treasure. RIP George, Geoff Sutherland.

Really sad to hear the news of George. He was truly an iconic guy, and someone I´ve respected enormously. I was a work colleague, a customer, and became a friend. As well as sharing an automotive passion, I loved the stories - "wait - before you go, I have to tell you about..." I never knew what was coming, but it was always hilarious! He sure lived a full and wonderful life. Rest In Peace you great man.

Dear Judith Sending much love to you at this very sad time. George was certainly a unique man and touched many people. Many fond memories of you both. Lots of hugs Lee & Al

Well George I am super sad you left us but so so pleased we got to meet you many years back as a friend and business friend, your drive and enthusiasm for all cars, trucks being American or just four wheels was `next level´....... Thankyou for teaching me to drive at Pukekohe and racing with us in the six hour race - we all had fun and a little success. Many stories to tell but please give that other great man a hug up there in Chevy heaven, it now has another great man joining...
