George "Ed" Butler

As cousins grow up and go their separate ways, especially after the older generation has passed on, they kind of lose track of each other except on special occasions. But I'll always remember how attentive Ed was to his mother in her final days and to his dad who continued to live alone after she passed away. Uncle Ed was good to me and I will always have a special place in my heart for him as he made a special effort to see that his older brother, Ollie, was involved in the hunting and fishing trips with his other siblings. I also remember Ed and Jack taking turns with Ollie Sr. in his final days. My prayers go out to everyone in the family who are feeling his loss. Joy Butler, niece
