Not sure what to say?

I was a teacher at Medfield H.S. from 1961-'68, and a colleage of George's. However, always during my tenure in education, continued a distant association with my former friends and colleagues in the Medfield P.S. The last time I socialized with George was when we attended the 40th reunion of the Medfield H.S. class of '67. Along with fellow colleagues John Cuoco, Robert Hersey, Bernard Shea, and our fellow students we had a great time reminiscing and embellishing old time and experiencing. ...

Our sincere condolances to the Callahan family. George and Francis (Buzzy) and many other Needham skaters met to play ice hockey on Rosemary Lake. George was an awesome skater and a talented hockey player. Both he and Francis attended BC High School and were honor roll students. His
contagious smile and kind ways are always in my mind.
His good ways influenced everyone who knew him. We will all miss him dearly. Sincerely , Bob and Cathy Toran

Byron Nelson, watching us play one day stated “George had the best swing at Ponkapoag”. Can't remember what Byron said about my swing, but George, who would always give people a piece of his heart rather than a piece of his mind, would turn to his brother Dan and say that was a perfect “Catenary”....

Dear Diane, Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. George was an outstanding teacher. His students loved and respected him. He was a true friend to all of our faculty at Medfield High School. We all will miss him greatly. -- Tass Filledes

my deepest sorrow to the callahan family for george was one of the greatest

George, a great teacher and friend. A strong advocate for teachers!

I remember Mr. Callahan well from his days teaching in Medfield. Math was never my strongest subject, but I took his trigonometry class senior year, and he made everything make so much sense. RIP.
