Not sure what to say?

To Doris & all the Campbell "Kids",

I was so sorry to hear of George's passing. He has always been a great friend & mentor. He was always there to make you laugh at his latest story. I'll remember all the house parties at our house & the softball picnics at Echo Lake where we all had laughs and great fun. My "God Father" will always be in my heart and prayers. He was a great person who will never be forgotten. Love & condolences from The Thompson Family,

I found out about "The Chief" last night while visiting my mother in Watchung. I regret not having the opportunity to pay my respects to the family, so I"ll do it here. Where do I start? I didn't know it at the time but besides my father, The Chief is one of the men who were an example of what a man should be. I knew him as my friends Dad, a coach, a Scout Master, an usher at church and one of the guys who tried to keep me on the straight and narrow. I remember him sitting behind his bar...

My heartfelt sympathy to Doris and family. I remember George's stories and laugh many years ago with our "Park Avenue" group. He was a wise man who relished in his wife and family, and then his profession. I'm sure he is "serving and protecting" in a better place...may he rest in peace.

My condolences to Aunt Doris and all my cousins. Sorry Theresa and I could not make it to N.J. We will miss Uncle George deeply. On a personal note, I will miss hearing Uncle Georges deep growl that Keith and I were very familier with! Our thoughts and prayers are with you

Uncle George will live forever in my heart and mind as a strong, just, and very determined human being. His loving example, his deep growl, his warm chuckle and his caring heart were imprinted upon me from babyhood and for that I am forever grateful. Wish Maine and NJ were closer so I could be there to say my goodbyes in person.... to Aunt Doris and all my cousins I send my love and warmest hugs. I will miss him. peace. eileen campbell (dennysville, maine)

To all who loved him. I know none of you, but I'm compelled to extend my deepest sympathies.

I worked with George Campbell many years ago at the ABC when it was located in Cranford. I was quite young at the time and was employed there about 4-1/2 years. I remember he was both a leader and someone who could make you laugh. Having lost both parents and a sister, I understand how difficult a time this is for all of you. I can only say that once the pain of your loss becomes...

To Judy,
My condolences; it never gets easy to lose a parent.

To a brother officer, collegue & friend. Your presence & friendship will be truly missed by your fellow police chiefs in Union County.

Our deepest sympathies to the entire Campbell family. Our thoughts are with you all.
