George J. Cannellos

I may have shared this before. I remember the story of Floyd Little coming into to a packed Cosmos and he picked up the very heavy cigarette machine and began to shake it. George, no small man and a frosh walk-on SU Football player himself, gave him the business. Two giants, both now gone, having fun in the crowded pizza shop entrance. I miss you George! A picture of you in your Charger still hold a place of honor over my desk.

Uncle George was a special person. I was introduced to him by his nephew, Rick. I got to know him and aunt Corinne via my own experience and through my son Jared. I fondly refer to him as uncle George because he treated our family like an uncle would. A great example for all of us.
