George William Carroll Jr.

Just learned of George's passing. He was kind, gentle and will be remembered fondly by our family.

I sorry I was out of State. I will remember George fondly as a friend and comrade. Gods Speed.

I met George back in 1971 when we were both working at the old Cedar Grove Hotel on Lake Bomoseen. George was such a hoot with a wild sense of humor. I never saw much of him after that until a few years ago as his health was failing. A real shame, he was just a great guy. My condolences to his family.God speed George.

From kindergarten and before, George and I were friends all through elementary school, and then, even went to a Catholic Seminary out of state, to become priests. Although shortlived, we returned to Fair Haven High to finish High School. From being Altar Boys to Skipping School....we ran the gamut. George will be missed for his wit, humor and friendship.
