I was part of Wayne's class of 84. Some rowdies were in our homeroom. I remember he would let spitballs fly for a set amount of time and named our class Goptomaniacs. Now I am a teacher at Wayne and glad I have that memory of how how he never gave up. Thank you Mr. Carroll!

My sincere sympathy to the family of George Carroll. As a teacher he gave me the courage in Speech class to which I contribute many times in my career to him when I had to give presentations to clients. I would always think of him fondly, he was a great teacher!

I taught with George from 1969 until his retirement. For 13 of those years I shared rides from Indianola to Corydon. George taught and was involved in various subjects at Wayne Community. George was a very dedicated educator.
