Not sure what to say?

In the late 70’s, George gave me my one-and-only formal guitar lesson. His warmth, kindness, patience, and musicianship will always be cherished. I wish to extend my deepest sympathies to his family and friends.

To all the Cassidy family, my deepest sympathies. Although the passing of time has taken us apart, I still have the greatest memories of what friends and neighbors the Cassidy's were.

Can you believe it - I remember the day that George was introduced to neighborhood on his first day home from the hospital.

I share in your sadness today. God bless you all.

My deepest sympathies to the family.
I am an employee at Bombardier and worked with George while he was a Bombardier employee and later on while he worked at C&D.
I will always remember George as a very good engineer and a very nice man.

To my dear childhood neighbours and friends, the Cassidy Family,
It was with deep sadness that I learned about the passing of my childhood friend, George. I have so many wonderful memories of each of the Cassidy Clan, but George was one of my best friends growing up. You were all such a vibrant part of the fabric that wove the 45th Avenue neighbourhood together. All of my childhood memories include one of you, from WLRC, the YMCA, Meadowbrook, Lachine High and all the long, wonderful...

We only knew George for a few years as our backyard neighbor. But we will always remember him as friendly, smiling, and sitting with Marie drinking wine and playing the guitar. He was excited to be moving to a house overlooking the lake. We are still in shock over the news.
Our thoughts and prayers are with you and the girls in your time of grief. May your memories bring you comfort. Our deepest condolences.

To my friend since childhood and my first musical compadre, George Cassidy.
We spent so many days having fun swimming at WLSC pool, at Carignon Park and at the lakeshore at 45th Avenue. When he made his yearly sojourn to camp for a couple of weeks each summer, I didn’t know what to do with myself, and counted down the days until his return.
We formed our first band when we were about 11, and thereafter spent so much time listening to, learning, playing and sharing ideas about...

My sincere condolenses to his family.
Your spirit and memories will live on forever through all the people that love you and may your spirit and smile light up the heavens as it did on earth.

My deepest sympathies to the family.
George will be dearly missed.

I knew George since early high school days and have worked with him at both Innotech & Bombardier for the last 24 years. He was an idle of many back in school and he was admired and well respected in the aviation business. He was always kind to everyone. He will be missed by many.
My deepest condolences to his loved ones and close friends.
