George was one of my best friends. Over the years, we spent many hours fishing, discussing old radio shows and life in general. We had a mutual love of broadcasting, and he really enjoyed working part-time as a news announcer at WNLC and WSUB. If anyone needed a favor, you could call George and he was always ready to help. George and I volunteered at Mystic River Ambulance & OMFD together and George was helpful in our initial fund raising for MRA. Our condolences to Mary Jane and her family. Thank you George for all of your help.
