I´ll always remember the wonderful conversations we had about growing up in the Hill and playing ball at St.Peter´s oval. He was an absolute genuine man with a great heart for his fellow man! Dear Dorothy, Dorothy, George and Paul. my sincere condolences on George´s passing. we were neighbors from Second St in the Hill and he and my father grew up together. A great memory was when we used to celebrate George´s birthday, combined with July 4 each year at the field behind St Peters that turned into a four hour fireworks extravaganza each year( and the accompanying bonfires that followed up and down Greenwich Avenue). I know that George and my father are up there right now...
