George J. Chapman Jr.

Mystic - George J. Chapman Jr., 61, of 290 Godfrey Road, Mystic, husband of Monica Chapman, died Wednesday, March 20, 2013.

Mr. Chapman retired from Electric Boat as a technical design specialist.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, at the Byles-Groton Memorial Home, 310 Thames St., Groton. Burial will follow in Elm Grove Cemetery, Mystic. Calling hours will be from 3 to 5 p.m. Monday, at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to the Nutmeg Volunteer Junior Fife and Drum Corps., P.O. Box 588, Groton, CT 06340 or to Westbrook Drum Corps.
