I never personally met George, but knew I could always get the biggest and the best roses at George´s Flowers on Park Street. For years he has provided! I loved reading about his life, his service to the country, and his service to his family and Madison. Celebrate his legacy. How lucky to have known him!

My brother, Mike was one of many who benefited from George's kindness and mentorship as a baseball coach. George was a great role model for the kids he coached. His players had fun and he made sure everyone felt that they were a part of the team. I was a close friend of Fost's growing up. George always welcomed me into his home and never complained when I interrupted family dinners by shooting hoops in his driveway. George left an indelible mark on his community and his neighbors on Odana...
