I am so sad to see this. Dr. Churukian was there for me at Wesleyan during a time when I was trying to figure out life. He was so encouraging. I was just talking with a college friend recently about how much we both liked and appreciated him. I have worked for decades in online education in Illinois (my passion) and if I have made any positive differences for students, it is partly due to Dr. Churukian's belief in me at a time when I wasn't sure I believed in myself. Carol and family, my condolences on your loss. I had spoken with George at our last CAC meeting and was surprised at his sudden death. My heart-felt condolences to the Churukian family. Dr. Churukian was very instrumental in helping me attain an education degree at Wesleyan and was always available to assist me when I encountered obstacles during my pursuit of an aducation degree. I loved his sense of humor and his abilty to remain positive. May God bless and keep the family.
