Read MoreI am deeply saddened by learning of the passing of Dr. Claghorn. Without question, Dr. Claghorn was a very meaningful and significant part of my education at WCU. Dr. Claghorn had such an earnest, deep and enthusiastic method of teaching, of bringing Philosophy to us and of giving himself to us. The fondness I have of him and my time at WCU cannot be expressed fully in words.
