Not sure what to say?

My condolences to the family. Having just read his profile I would love to have met him, as we share many similarities. My father Walter George Ashby born 1891 April 30th had told me before he passed that we had a relative in Cleveland Ohio but I never got anymore information. Blessings from the UK Ashbys.

I remember Ashby Cleveland very well from Roxboro Junior High School for the term of 1960-1963. I don't know how many classes we had in common but I do remember that we were both in Mrs. Mills' history class in November 1960 and how upset she was when John Kennedy got elected. Ashby was a cool guy and someone who was unforgettable.

Ashby was my roommate our senior year at Reserve. The summer after graduation, Ashby, David and I went to Canada to work as itinerant tobacco crop harvesters. With Ashby, every day was a new adventure. Miss him.

Sorry for your loss of such a vibrant person. May the God of comfort be with your family.

My condolences to all the Clevelands.
I have a number of fond memories of Ashby from the late sixties. They don't make them like him anymore!
I didn't have an older brother so I was all ears when Ashby talked.
All my best
