Not sure what to say?

My daughter had Mr Cobb as a substitute teacher for many years, at Vivian Field and at Turner. She thought his teaching was exceptional but she also thought he was one of the kindest men she had ever come to meet, especially in a school setting. He definately made an impact on many lives and his family should be well pleased with his earthly duties. He is now the wide eyed student being taught by the greatest teacher of all - our Heavenly Father.

There were a few things you could always count on Mr. Cobb talking about: his beloved wife ("She keeps me straight. What she says goes."), his children, God's purpose for his life, and of course Texas Tech (He knew I went there and he always had neat updates!). To say the least, as a teacher, I saw students saying hi to Mr. Cobb because he knew them by name. His trademark: Shining the Love of God at our school without holding back. Every time he subbed, you could count on a wonderful...

Mr. Cobb was a teacher. While that may be a very simple statement, it speaks volumes of who he was and what he did each and everyday. He embodied the very best of support, encouragement, education, and most of all respect for the young students he came into contact with on a daily basis. I was fortunate to know him. He was a true prince among men.

I was one of your husband's students. I'm so sorry about what happened. He was a good teacher and a person as well. He was a gentleman something you don't see these times. Again I'm so sorry hope you feel better.

Mrs.Cobb,
I know didn't talk to you that much but we were still cool. And when I had my face down he would always but a smile on my face.We would always make jokes and laugh he would give me candy but now he is in heaven with the lord and I will miss him alot.

Mr.Cobb was a nice substitute teacher because he would always make us laugh. He would also make jokes like the one about his wife being a professional basket ball player and that he made me treat the girls nice. It was always ladys first and if we were good after class he would give us candy.

Mr.Cobb was a very funny substitute. He was trying to teach us some manners I had learned a little few manners like girls first or when a girl drops somthing I will pick it up. I thought he was a very cool person.

Mr.Cobb was a very nice substitute and he was nice to all of us.He always tell us jokes all the time and sometime if were good he gives us candy. We always have to be nice to the girls he was a very nice guy and we will miss him.

George was a constant positive influence here at Vivian Field. Each day when he would come to sub, he would have the "world by the tail" and do a great job for our kids. I loved talking with him about football and he was always taking about FCA and his commitment to our kids.
