I knew George from Park Wood Diner in Maplewood sitting at the counter where he had many of his meals. He always had a newspaper to read and was up to date with chatting with whomever had the opportunity to sit next to him. He was on his cell a lot catching up, too! George will always be remembered very fondly by many. We visited with him often when we were up at the Park Wood Diner in Maplewood. My Dad, a World War II Vet, and George would always find so much to talk about. They would always tip their hats to eachother, in honor of their combined service.
