Not sure what to say?

George was such a likable person and an outstanding football player. God Bless him and may he rest in peace.

Renate, I have so many memories of George, all funny ,He loved life as few do. He has been missed. Margaret Greem, Beaumont

Remata, my favorite memory of George was when Tommy and I went to something honoring CW at the Tower Club in Beaumont. He and Jerry took Mrs. Conn down and shortly after we left. On the wall of the elevator was Mattie Conn's name tag and above it was written "for a good time call"....that was his essence.

Renate,

I was saddened to hear of George's passing, but was enlightened by his tribute. It brought a smile to my face as I know it would have George's. I have fond memories of sitting on your patio listening to George play the guitar and Mike attempting to sing Johnny Cash. Hoping all the adventures of your life with George will help you get through this difficult time. God bless,

Laura

Old Butch Bean, Jerry Stedman, and the motley crew who went before George are messing up the tranquility in heaven big time. My sadness is only lifted with remembering some of their exploits. Or at least they said those things happened. My love and prayers to Jerry, Renate, Becky and the family. Peace.

my sympathy to the family from George's next door neighbor from Beaumont, Jerry Jones Moncrief

Jerry and Renate,

I am so sorry to think of George being gone, bittersweet. So many memories come flooding back; it will be good to remember together the fun we all had in the BHS class of 1956, even is we have to do it separately. My love and prayers to you both.

George was my teammate and TD user as in the South Park game after 80 yd run to the 1 yd line fighting off tacklers I was finally stopped and George ran it over on the next play. He did thank me for putting him in position to score. Perry Broussard BHS class of '55.
