To the Connor family,
What a kind and gentle soul! I remember fondly listening to my father tell stories of he and George Connor. He was a true and great friend to my father. I know that his "Birthday Buddy" Bert was there to welcome him and that they are up there whooping it up. Know that you all are in my thoughts and prayers now and throughout the year!

Deepest sympathy to Sue, the Connor family,Mary Ellen and Jack. George was always an example and a leader starting in St. Columbanus where He was my Patrol Boy Captain, playing football at Myering Park and shooting hoops in his back yard. God bless George, we will all miss him. Bob & Jean Kill

To Jack Connor: My deepest sympathy go out to you and the family. You and George are trully great ND men and how I admire your brotherly love. To those of us who attended ND just after WW 2 George was such a vibrant presence and a remarkable player and person. How we loved the pep rallies when George and Ziggy would talk. Jack, you were blessed to have him as a brother and he was blessed to have you. With deepest sympathy, Bill Donovan

Dear George and Al,
My reguards to the two of you and your family. I'm sorry to read of your loss and I wanted to express my sympathy. Your dad was a good man and greatly respected.
It's been many years since the "USS Clipper" days but I've thought of you two from time to time. I feel that I never thanked George Jr for taking me to the Atlanta game back in "85", it was my fist and only Bears game---thanks.
