George was born on December 22, 1930 and passed away on Tuesday, March 1, 2016. George was a resident of Amherst, New Hampshire at the time of his passing. He graduated from East Providence High School in 1948 and earned his Bachelorâs degree from the University of Rhode Island in 1961. He was a U.S. Navy veteran having served during the Korean War. He was married to Jane. Memorial visiting hours are on Monday March 7th from 4:00-6:30 pm in the Smith Heald Funeral Home 63 Elm Street Milford NH. A memorial mass will be celebrated on Tuesday at 11:00 am in St. Patrickâs Church 34 Amherst Street Milford. Burial will be in St. Patrickâs Cemetery Amherst in the spring. Donations in his memory may be made to St. John Neumann Church Day Away Program 708 Milford Road Merrimack NH 03054.
