Rip Coach Crandall

Gini and family, So sorry for your loss. Always enjoyed your parents and having George reprimand us for skipping school ( and going to parties) I will always have fond memories of that long ride home from Eugene when we were Seniors!

I am saddened to hear of the passing of Coach Crandall. I had the honor and privilege of playing for him at Wilson High School. He prepared us thoroughly for each opponent we played. He was a masterful defensive coach. He always demanded the best out of us and we reached down for him. I will cherish the few times Coach and I met when I was coaching youth basketball and needed his tutelage. The way he prepared us to play the game of basketball, prepared us for life. May his legacy live...

Mr. Crandall should have a "best Dad" award. Mr. Crandall and his wife were some amazing parents and raised the most wonderful children. I am proud and happy to know the Crandall Family. George will be missed by so many. Our memories will help ease the loss.

George was coach and mentor to my brother John Kullberg who played basketball at Milwaukie High School 1959-1963. George spoke at John´s memorial service in 2004. Our family held great respect for Coach Crandall.

Much thanks to each of you for your condolences, kindness, and sharing your memories of our Dad.

I send my sympathy to George's family. My sister, brother and I attended Milwaukie High School. George was my brother, John's basketball coach, and spoke at John's Memorial Service in 2004. John had tremendous admiration and respect for Coach Crandall.

Sorry for your loss. As a youngster I sat on the players bench with my Dad and George at Milwaukie HS basketball games
