Dear Carol,
I am so sorry to hear of George's passing. He was a wonderful man, truly uplifting, with an infectious sense of humor. He was also very generous, one of my favorite trustees. I truly enjoyed working for him.
Bug and I will miss him.
Stay strong in this difficult time.
Sincerely,
Peter

Dear Carol,
I was so saddened to read the news of George's passing today and will always remember his warm welcome to all Green Finger Garden Club members as he so proudly detailed various features of the gardens you both created so splendidly and shared so generously with us all. He was a warm and gracious host and so supportive of all the many projects in Greenwich; he will be sorely missed and we were all so lucky to have had the privilege of knowing him. Peace to you all and prayers...
