Not sure what to say?

I´m George Crapps First Wife Alice. Though we divorced, we amicably, shared custody of our son Maston Crapps. George was a devoted father and remains important to me. I miss him terribly.

I remember George as a generous heart. He was compassionate, understanding the sometimes strange ways of other people. He never blamed. He was a blessing in my life.

It is amazing how time flies when someone you love and care for leaves us. I was enrolled at LCCC between 2003 and 2006 and had George as a professor for Freshman Comp 1. We both bonded the first day of class because I was older than most students and he would make mention of my maturity and how pleasant it was to have someone like myself in his class. George was always impressed with my work and wasn't afraid to say so as he would make everyone feel special. Even though English class was a...

Just the other day my 15 year old was working on his summer paper for school and I thought about Mr. G. Wished he could review his paper...hmm.. perhaps he already has. God Bless!

I wrote this poem for George after learning he had died.

MORNING STAR

Drowsing man, morning news…
bombs, rockets, flares, new war
or old and underneath the question—
did we not come for love?

Afternoon. Food in the sink,
drains stuffed, floors
slick and scarred with years.
He'd flood the dirt away
but he's bound to honor
every task as she did:
scrub walls and shutters,
feed plants and fires…

Well, it's been alittle over four years since my stepdad has been gone. I was right when I said "the world will be a less funny place"! I have missed his humor, unconditional love ,knowledge and overall confidence he gave to not only me but everyone. I dream of you often George and still pray I see you in Heaven. I could use a good laugh! We love you always, Misty and Logan.....

I went through grade school with George in Live Oak and we graduated together. My dad knew his father. George has family buried in Live Oak next to my dad's grave and each time I visit the grave of my dad, I think of George because of the name Crapps next to the grave of my dad.
I was in Live Oak this past week for a funeral and went to see the grave of my father and thought of George, I was looking through the obituraries and saw the one on George. I can't believe it. Contact me at...

I am so sorry to hear about Mr. Crapps. I still haven't heard what exactly happened to him and I would like someone to email me at [email protected]

I never had him as an instructor but I would always watch him teach through the classroom window during classes. He would be perched on a desk sharing some story and then the whole class would break out in hilarious laughter. I remember seeing him on campus and regretting that I missed out on his teaching.

He will be missed,...

I want to thank everyone for their kind words about my husband George Crapps. I have answered several emails, but was unable to answer some that I did not have an email address. Some of you know me and some do not. George and I had 22 short wonderful years together. He was an amazing man, full of life and witt. My life with him is unforgettable. Always thinking of others, never judging. He lived each day to its fullest. Big G, will live thru all that knew him. He wouldn't want us to cry,...
