Uncle George was one of three brave, ethical brothers, all heroes of the Greatest Generation and heroes to their families. Uncle George gave us many gifts. As a scientist and professor he taught us curiosity and love of nature. From his experiences in WW2 and the depression of the '30s, he guided us with courage and values. And along with his wonderful wife of 72 years, Aunt Jeannette, he nurtured loving and strong family bonds. His was a life well-lived. We all loved him dearly.
