George Creasy Obituary
George Eldridge Creasy Jr., 87, of Madison Heights, passed away on Saturday, February 5, 2022, at his residence. He was the husband of the late Glenda Deel Creasy.
Born January 10, 1935 in Lynchburg, he was the son of the late George E. Creasy Sr. and the late Mamie Pugh Creasy and was preceded in death by a son, Timothy Creasy; a brother, Richard Creasy, and a sister, Violet C. Ellington. Mr. Creasy was a retired supervisor with Lynchburg Foundry, Lower Basin and was a veteran of the United States Navy. He was a member of Eastbrook Baptist Church.
Mr. Creasy is survived by one son, George E. Creasy III and wife, Jenny of Raleigh, N.C.; a daughter, Diane C. Bryant and husband, Greg of Madison Heights; two sisters, Helen C. Whitehead of Madison Heights and Marie C. Moore of Lynchburg; five grandchildren; nine great grandchildren, and two great-great grandchildren.
A graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m., Wednesday, February 9, 2022, at Fort Hill Memorial Park with Doug Roakes officiating.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 7:30 p.m., Tuesday, February 8, 2022, at Whitten Monelison Chapel.

I am so sorry to hear of the passing of George . He was a great person who was always ready to help anyone in need . I was good friends with his son Timmy and George was like a brother to my father Peyton williams . He made some of my dads last days very happy ones with the visits . God gained one of his best creations when he called George home . I´m am positive when George got heaven God said well done my faithful servant . Thank you for all the life lessons and the patience you showed me growing up . You will always be in my memories
