My condolences to the family . My name is Maryann. I was a patient of Dr. De Angelo Dec 3 1974. I had 2 artificial heart valves replace at Hamot Hospital . in Erie Pa. It´s been 49 years and still moving strong . Thanks to Dr. G .De Angelo saving my life. And Raising my daughter who is now 50 years of age. May he rest in peace .

This doctor saved my Mom's life. One of the best Doctors.

My sympathy to Dr. D'Angelo's wife and family. In 1960, my parents were told there was now a surgery to repair a valve in my heart, and I was taken to Hamot. Then, I was 14 and in the 9th grade; today I feel so fortunate to be healthy at 68. When Dr. D'Angelo turned 40, I was invited to his birthday party at an Italian restaurant in Erie, that my mother and I attended. The party was with all the children he operated on at that point.
