Lived a few blocks from George, and went to high school with George. Will always remember busting each others chops in homeroom every morning at South. I just learned of your passing. Rest in peace brother.

I'm very saddened to learn of George's passing. What a nice guy! As a fellow Omaha native who transplanted to Las Vegas where I met George, I remember fondly his great talent and kindness and his beautiful voice singing Come on and shine Las Vegas, shine your lights on me... My sincere condolences to the Dahir family.
