Not sure what to say?

While I didn't know the family, I was moved by reading this. I'm glad he found his way home and am thankful for his service. I own a car that belonged to Alan and Betty Davies of Portland purchased around 1971 or 1972 and curiosity landed me here. Sadly, it appears they have passed as well.

I was born during WWll and to this day I read books on probably the worst and largest war ever fought. I had uncles who fought and one who had mental problems the rest of his life. I will forever be thankful for those who preserved our freedom and help make America great. I just wish that those young people today who rag about our country could "see" what a great privilege they fave been given to be born free!

Love and peace to his loved ones . Another example of "it can happen" .

God bless you, George Davies. There isn´t enough gratitude in the world to thank you the way you deserve. I am so relieved that your family has you back.

God Bless you Sir. May you now rest in peace and in God´s loving arms. Thank you for keeping us safe.

Respect and honor ! May his family honor his service now that he comes home ! Never forgotten those who saved our world!!!! From the daughter of a BTG B-17

Thankful to hear that Sgt George Davies's remains have been returned for burial in Gresham Oregon after 81 years. Truly a blessing to his remaining family. Plus the dedication put forth by the Defense POW/MIA Accounting Agency!

Miracles do happen! Jesus never forgets! Welcome home and thank you for your service.
