Not sure what to say?

It has been almost a month and I received the sad news just now. I will miss hearing from him every so often and exchanging the latest info. We were newbie Postal Inspectors together and he was a supportive friend during that trying time in our careers. He was a wonderful caring and friendly gentleman with every bit of his southern hospitality. He will always be in my thoughts.

Jeff was a great friend and partner. We served together and sometimes had the opportunity to socialize as well. He had a kind heart and was well respected by all who knew him. I deeply mourn his passing and shall miss his friendship forever.

My heart is heavy in learning that Jeff has passed on. We shared experiences and he was always quick to counsel and console when the conversations turned towards subjects where I needed a willing ear. He always had a willing ear. I am richer for having him as a friend and poorer for now having to wait till we meet in the hereafter.
Jeff, may God bless you and keep your kind and generous soul!
Love,
Max

I just found out today. My heart felt condolences to his family. I will miss him so very much until I am called home also. " Robert...

I feel lucky to have known him, and will cherish my memories of time spent together: All-State Chorus in Tuscaloosa where we met in 1972; military dance at West Point in 1973; beach trips to Ft. Walton Beach; visits in passing as we met up while our family traveled to...
