Not sure what to say?

I am grateful he was a part of our life. He and my parents were very close. He was around a lot growing up. I think of him often. Rest in Peace!

I'm embarrassed to say that, although George was my godfather, I missed this announcement. We sent Xmas cards to each other every year, but I haven't seen him since 1992 when I stayed at their house. My parents were very close to George & Sally during their time in Casper Wyoming, where I was born. We used to visit off & on over the years, until they moved to Texas. I have known George since the 1976 migration of Sun Exploration to Dallas. I was a friend, student and model. His zest for life was contagious. You always knew you were with a superior human being, however he never made one feel inferior. I will miss you, George.

I was blessed to have known George since 2001 when I first began taking classes with him at The Studio. He was a dear friend who taught me so much, not only about art but about life and how to live it. He was a true mentor. He invited me to spend time with he and Annie at their beautiful summer home in Lubec, Maine overlooking Johnsons Bay. I spent a week there every year from 2013-2016. There are so many memories of him that Ill cherish forever: his ritual of having cherry soup every...

I smile when I think of my time with George and Annie. Their wedding in Portugal and beautiful reception in Sentra. What a surprise! Our travels and work in "The Studio" where I never stopped learning! He lived a full life, I am soo grateful to have been a small part of his wonderful dash through life. Deepest Sympathy, Georganna
