George J. Deasy 86 of Scotch Plains died on Saturday January 7 2017
at Center for Hope Hospice - Scotch Plains.
Funeral service will be Thursday January 12 at 9:30 am from the
Rossi Funeral Home 1937 Westfield Avenue Scotch Plains.
Interment St Mary Cemetery Clark. Visitation will be Wednesday
January 11 from 6-8 pm at the Funeral Home.
George was born in Elizabeth, grew up and lived in Rahway until settling to
Scotch Plains in 2005. George served his country with the Naval Reserves for
over 25 years. He was a machinist / mill wright, first with Singer Manufacturing in
Elizabeth, GAF in LInden, BASF in Kearny and retired from Ogden Martin in
Rahway in 2005. George loved to travel to and spend time in Bermuda.
George was predeceased by his wife Margaret Alice in 89'.
He is survived by his beloved daughter Ellen M. Marsan and husband Harold and
loving grandchildren Michael and Mary Alice Marsan.
