Not sure what to say?

Dear dad,I want to thank you for being my role model and teaching me it is best to accomplish goals with honesty and kindness.Your giving heart ,your ability to take care of others was a gift for me to witness.I miss you dearly. The gate is narrow.peace

I met Michael, son of Command Sergeant Major DeHaven. He is a kind soul, and I enjoyed speaking with him. I thank all those who came long before me, and to those like CSM DeHaven who have helped keep The United States the great Nation it is today. Thanks

In October 1951 I was assigned to George's section in the 332ndCRC in Heilbronn, Germany. In the Spring of 1952 we set up operations in Hof Back to Heilbron for the winter of 1952-1953. In Spring 1953 we went to Coburg and were still there when I left for discharge in November. I never saw or heard from George after that but thought of him from time to time. Although not close we were friends. 70 years ago but happy memories. A good soldier. May he rest in peace.

Command Sergeant Major DeHaven was my sergeant Major when I was stationed in Germany in the 26th Signal Bn. He was by far the absolute best and most professional Command Sergent Major that I was honored to serve under. RIP CSM DeHaven

My condolences to the family. I pray family and friends help you through this difficult time and that God grants you the comfort and peace that you need to cope with your loss.
