Not sure what to say?

Too the man that was more my friend then mentor. How much I enjoyed his antics when he wasn't being so serious! "You're a funny guy" he'd always say, truth be told I think that was his way of saying "I appreciate you". I spent more time at Leader Automotive than I did at church in the 1980's. He was a brilliant man that could fabricate anything from his mind to the hands that God made him to be. He built me three engines, the motor in the 1974 Trans Am 455 SD my brother had, but what he...

George was a customer, a friend and also referred a lot of customers to my business Tracy Performance for Chevy and Corvette parts.

I was just acquainted with George. We were in a prayer meeting for 17 years.

He LOVED Jesus.

R.I.P. dear brother

Showed George my TRW piston rings as he handled them he said " whom ductile iron they'll do" You went to be with Jesus, ALRIGHT!

I am saddened to hear George passed away. He was a friend to my husband I Will always remember Condolences to the family. RIP George

After reading the many tributes here, it is overwhelming as to the number of people moved by such a great man! The funeral home was a similar reflection today!
Having first met George in 1969 as a 21 year old, he helped me on what would evolve into many Pontiac car projects over the next 5 decades!
Upon learning of our families and our Romanian heritages, George took me under his wing and treated me like family.
To many of us, he was the epitome of Pontiac performance.
