Not sure what to say?

My sincere condolences to Sherri and the family - George was a big part of my time at Spalding and the Hall of Fame. Was always supportive and available for a chat. Will be missed by many.

Dear Sherry, We are saddened to hear that George died last week. We often remember the good times that we had together . George was quite the mentor to me and others who went on to success in the sporting goods industry. His legacy will be remembered by all that he touched. We wish you and our family our deepest sympathies .

My deepest sympathies to this good man's family. He did his best to support our R&D group to develop new Spalding products. I played tennis with him a few times and he was very good for starting out later in life: he was so competitive. He said he had a double take when he saw my name was the same as his two sons. He was the leader of Spalding.

Sherry and boys. Please. accept my prayers and sympathies for your loss. He passed on the same date as Bill so perhaps they are now discussing business again. God Bless You!

My heartfelt condolences to Sherry and all her and George's family. I hope you will find comfort in sweet memories of happier times to help ease the pain of your loss. Love, Cousin Bette

As a 40 year Spalding employee, I knew George as one of the most passionate, hardest working, smartest people I have ever known. At heart he loved people and always inspired excellence. He constantly worked to create good, sustainable jobs in Chicopee. Rest in Peace George.

George accomplished so much in his lifetime, did so many good things, and helped so many people. He made a difference. He will be sorely missed. Rest in peace dear brother-in-law.

George was a really cool guy. I used to fill in when his secretary was out on vacation. He used to go down to the factory quite frequently and talk to the workers. I'll never forget him giving out the holiday hams to each and every employee. I haven't met anyone like George since Spalding closed in 2005. RIP, good sir.
