Not sure what to say?

George was one of the good guys. Worked with George at WLWD TV in 1968. We played a lot of golf together (still remember how he addressed the ball on his tee shots .... could not figure out how he saw the ball on the tee with his neck turned at a 180 degrees). He will sorely missed but led a wonderful life. God rest his soul!

Andy, so sorry to hear about your Dad. Was planning on coming to service but unfortunately sick in bed . Hope you're doing ok. Janie

George will be sorely missed. He was always so kind & excited when we visited NCR CC. Our deepest condolences go out to both George's family & our friends at NCR. He was truly a gem.

Condolences to the family of my wouderful friend and backer Mr. Diefenderfer. May this proud supporter of Miami sports rest in Peace in Redskin Heaven. We loved him much!! John Swann, Miami Basketball, 1963-1965

I'll never forget at WGCC in the 70's George and I were partners in a nassau match in the early spring. I was still a 2 hdcp from the previous year but hadn't hit a ball in 5 months. Well, I smoothed it around in 86 and of course George and I got killed and George enjoyed giving me the business about that! Throughout the years I'd run into him occasionally and we would always bring that up and have a good laugh. It's one of my all time favorite memories. God bless you George!

George was a good friend and wonderful co-worker. I hope the family finds peace knowing what a wonderful man he was !
