Not sure what to say?

George had many other accomplishments which he shared with his housemates at UCBSO. He played the guitar beautifully, did wonderful sketches and was a great dancer, especially swing dance until his illness became manifest. I will never forget his contagious smile, his intelligence and his caring ways. I miss him. Sara A

We were so saddened to hear of George's passing. We have so many fond memories of all the kids growing up together.

May God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow. Unfortunately, I never got to meet Geoerge dill, dexcept as customer of Franklin Mint, which is my loss!! Rest in peace and may all the peace on earth find you. David J Avery

I knew George while I was in middle school being part of the Moreno family I was the only Black guy that came over and he would make jokes or have a simple conversation never herd him complain or nag I remember the first time I was introduced to him and he never judged me will always remember his bright soul and humor you will be missed Georgie

The loss of a fine soul. I will remember him lovingly (pictured below at Christmas at my mom's house) as a talented guitar player, artist, jokester, colleague, great dance partner, close friend, housemate and courageous role model. Until we meet again...

George was like a brother to me ever since we met in Optometry School and became fast friends. We "got" one another and never had a cross word. Through the decades I marveled at his ability to accept the wretched health setbacks that plagued him. He was a piece of my heart and will never be forgotten.

Goodnight, Sweet Prince.

George was the dearest friend and inspiration that anyone could hope for. I worked online with George for many years and finally enjoyed a most memorable visit with him at Dora's home. She is a wonderful caregiver and George was blessed to have her love and help. He will be an inspiration to me for as long as i survive him. God bless dear friend, RIP.
