Not sure what to say?

Mr. Dimond,
Sir, as a fellow Marine I would just like to say thank you for your service and sacrifice for our Country when you served in the USMC during WW II. It was the history and accomplishments made by you and your fellow Marines back then that all of us Marines who followed in your footsteps have always tried to live up to. And to your family and loved ones, I wish to extend my deepest sympathy.

As a regular visitor to the Holliston Live Steamers, I always looked forward to going on the property smoking my pipe so I could hear George chew me out for smoking in a Non Smoking location as he stood beside his smoking steam locomotives..It's not quite the same with out you George.. Rest In Peace!!

We remember the long, double-headed freight trains running endlessly around the old layout on Norfolk Street! The ending of an era. Our best wishes and sincere condolences to George's family and friends.

I first met George many years ago on an annual ice fishing trip to Maine. His wit and humor were something I looked forward to year after year and became one of the highlights of the weekend for me. It was always a special treat to see him at a Bluegrass Music festival also. I'll miss you George, and I'll remember you always.
