Not sure what to say?

I just saw this Diane! I am so sorry! Both you and George played and your family played a major role in my life. I have very fond memories of everyone. I am truly sorry and praying for you all.

To Diane and the entire family, we are so deeply saddened for the loss of George. He was a great person and a wonderful dad. I had the pleasure of working with George for a career at Western Electric, AT&T, Lucent Technologies and Bell Labs. We were fellow Indian Guide's with the boys. We just learned of his passing today and are very saddened. We will keep you all in our prayers. Denny and Joanne Barfuss

My thoughts and condolences to Diane, Josh and Jonathan and all of the Dirksen family. George was a great guy and I always looked forward to him making us laugh as part of our annual Christian Family Camp. Peace to him and God's grace to all who loved and knew him.

Our thoughts and prayers are with you today and in the months to come. While it has been years since we have seen your family, George was quite a guy and I know he will be missed by many. So many memories from Raph's -- as well as driving our daughters to wherever they wanted to go. Now he is in the arms of the Lord. May his memory be a blessing to you and all who knew him.

George was my first office mate and first friend when I joined Bell Laboratories in Naperville in 1969. During the years that followed, my young family (Gloria, David & Becca) shared many happy times with George, Diane, Melissa, Josh, and Jonathan. Thank you for your warm friendship my friend. Rest peacefully in the arms of God. Diane, Josh, Jonathan, may God give you comfort and peace. Sid Scott
