Mr Dobrea, to me, was larger than life. He was the father of my best friend Peter. I have always admired his devotion to his family and presence, civic leadership, and all-around engagement with the community and all those around him. Please accept my condolences on the loss of your husband and father. I apologize for missing the opportunity to be at the Services. I wasn't aware of "Uncle" George's passing until I saw it in the church bulletin.

He was not only a friend to my entire family he was always there for me to talk to about anything, especially when the topic was Romania!

My sincerest sympathy for your loss. Although I only got to spend a few hours with George when we visited last year, I will never forget the tour he gave me of the Romanian Museum. His stories about Romania and her people brought history to life. He was a great man and will be missed. May his memory be eternal.
