Dear Lynn and family, reading the obituary you can tell what a special man George was and feel what a great loss his passing must be for you. Wishing you lots of love as you mourn. My warmest wishes, Neighbor Rebecca

I did not know George Dole well, but had some business dealings with him while I was superintendent of schools for the Erving School Union #28. In the end, we had to choose another contractor whose bid was lower, but I was impressed with the integrity and knowledge that George Dole brought to the conversations about the work.

I´m glad I was able to see George at Buckys celebration of life. they will both be missed by our entire community. They did so much not only for me, but for everyone they came in contact with. I will miss them. I´m sorry I can´t be there today too express my condolences to all of his family. I will certainly take you up on the offer to send a donation. Rest in peace brothers

Words cannot truly express what George meant to our community. I am deeply grateful for all he did for me personally. He and Bucky exemplified a heritage and spirit synonymous with the Hilltowns. I hope "Boy" and "Brother" are at this time arguing over the big job site in the sky! I miss them both, but cherish the memories.

George and buck will be in our hearts and thoughts forever they can never be replaced.
