I adored George, seen here with his lovely wife Helen and my late mother Kathleen Leonard. When I was living with Mom for a few months in 2016-2017, George cheered on my dream of getting to King´s College London for my master´s in Eighteenth-Century Studies. But he was proud of me when I first took a detour to the DC area and worked as a reporter, writing me a letter asking if I was still sharp as a tack.
