I'll always remember the smile Father Dyer brought with him to Saint Patrick's in 1978. a warm, kind, gentle soul. Loved his homilies, especially the outer space homilies for kids. You were missed when you retired and are missed just as much now. Thank you for sharing your life with us.

I was fortunate to be a student of Fr. Dyer. He gently taught good theology. He gently challenged priests in training to go into parishes respecting what had already been built and to listen to people concerns and fears. He wanted young priests to let the people tell them what the needs of the parish were.

Father Dyer touched my heart in so many ways. I will always remember his sweet smile and his soft-spoken voice. I will treasure the times that my husband, Phil, and I took him out to lunch. What an awesome man and I am happy that he is now out of pain and able to see and hear again.
You are loved and will be missed sweet Father Dyer.
Love,
